On May 22nd I will be taking part in the SHC's Annual Sponsored Walk with my partner, Helle. The walk is a leisurely 5 mile stroll on Brighton seafront, but we will be incorporating it into a 26 mile circular Marathon walk starting in Hove, across the South Downs via Falmer to Saltdean and returning along the undercliff.

I first heard of the Sussex Heart Charity when I had heart surgery 3 years ago and they provided me with information regarding my hospital stay, operation, and rehab. I discovered they fund new and innovative equipment, nurse-lead services and the education of of hospital staff which otherwise wouldn't be funded, as well as promoting new procedures and treatments for heart patients. They have also installed defibrillators all over sussex - now over 300!

Like so many other charities, many of their fundraising activities have been cancelled for the last two years and any donations to enable them to continue their work would be gratefully received. All donations from Riverstone staff will be triple matched by the company (please give your full name).
