Story

My friend Bhonz has lost her baby Jasmine Trinity on the 9th of June 2020, only two days after her birth. I can't even begin to imagine the grief she has gone through since. She told me that Ipswich Hospital's Baby Bereavement Group has helped her process her loss and for that I am grateful. I would like to help them to continue supporting my friend and others faced with such a terrible loss.

I trained for and ran my first ultra marathon, the Stour Valley Path 50k on the 13th of August 2022 in memory of baby Jasmine. But this is not the end.

Encouraged by your support, my husband Alex is going to join me in running the Ipswich Half Marathon on the 11th of September. Together, we'll continue to fundraise for Ipswich Hospital's Baby Bereavement Group. This will be Alex's longest run yet and he needs all the support he can get to train for and complete this challenge.

A support group for families who have suffered stillbirth or neonatal loss, we meet on the last Tue of every month 7-9pm in the ambulance discharge lounge
