I ran the Brighton marathon on 14 April in 5 hours 5 minutes. I reached the finish line, now please help me to achieve my fundraising goal!

I ran 42K to support two great causes: defending human rights and protecting the environment. Evidence shows that both are deeply related- social and environmental justice are sides of the same coin. The approach of the Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) is innovative because it recognises this fact, aiming to protect rainforest by defending forest peoples' rights. But this work is also highly complex and takes a long-term commitment. This is why RFUK and I need your help!

Voy a correr el maratón de Brighton para apoyar dos grandes causas: la defensa de los derechos humanos y la protección del medio ambiente. La evidencia demuestra que ambas están íntimamente relacionadas: la justicia social y la ambiental son caras de la misma moneda. El trabajo de RFUK es muy innovador porque reconoce este hecho, y su objetivo es proteger el bosque tropical defendiendo los derechos de los pueblos que lo habitan.
