Story
When my family found out that my mum had cancer earlier this year we were in complete shock. To learn that someone close to you has cancer is incredibly scary and the start of a journey filled with uncertainty but also hope & support. Sadly, it is a very common illness that affects many people, so it is likely that you will also relate to this.
Thankfully my mum responded well to her incredible treatment received at The Royal Marsden, plus with the help from my dad, family & friends the journey has been a little easier. A strong and determined lady - I am certain she could complete the half marathon faster than me!!
We are also dedicating this run to my aunty Sheri who sadly passed away this July after many years of living with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the first to donate and her well wishes are the first on this page. Generous and thoughtful by nature, Bob & Sheri, this is for you too. xxxx
I will be very grateful for even the smallest donation that will fund cancer research and help others needing treatment.
Wishing you all the best health & happiness.
Ana
