Story
5th Sept - What a fab day, Maisie came with Mummy to pick me up from school, we had tea together and we were able to give her, her shiny new red trailor bike...now she has peddle power!!! We are looking forward to cycling together if our Mummies get fit! We also did a bit of a closure on the walk and I am pleased to say that for CRUK and Maisie we have raised a total of £3804.00. Thank you to everyone....from the very bottom of our hearts, your generosity in so many ways makes our hearts swell. ps I will get Mummy to post a picture of the new bike soon!
23rd Aug - We would really like to be able to formally give the money we have collected to Cancer Research UK and Maisie can I please ask you to get any outstanding monies to me by the end of this bank holiday so that sort this out. Having spoken to Maisie and her family they would really like a trailor bike for Maisie, so we will be getting this out of the funds raised so that they have something to enjoy the countryside on, hopefully we can meet them again soon on the Cuckoo Trail! next challenge anyone up for a bike ride!
9th Aug - The pennies are still coming in, thank you so much, off line we have over £1000, as you know we want to split the money 50:50 between CR UK and Maisie. Please can we ask you to get your sponsor money in asap. SO WHATS NEXT? Well we would like give Maisie and the remaining money for CRUK to them.....watch this space for more info in due course
8th Aug - oh dear...it all went wrong today..not the dogs fault but that of Mummy and Daddy...A fun day they said, a short walk they said...well they fibbed! We set off, Mummy had read a nice circular walk in a the Strollers handbook, how hard could it be... so at 11.30 am we set off from the Star at Old Heathfield (not surprisingly Daddy said a pub was a good starting and finishing point!) at 1330hrs we were still walking, but were in NEW Heathfield in the middle of a housing estate...so much for parents with any sort of sense of direction! After a little help from the local residents and finally a sat connection on Daddy's mobile we arrived back...I have heard of working up an appetite but really M&D that was a bit much we almost missed the pubs opening hours!. Also much to my dissatisfaction The Star did not serve super noodles (only v expensive ploughmans..at £12 each...ouch!)..luckily they did have lovely apple juice. As you can guess the pups did not destroy anything today, they were too tired!
5th Aug - Wow what a cool day, Maisie came to play, we played all day long and had such a lot of fun, we had lunch together and everything....a day to remember x
25th July - Well we have hit our target and wow thank you so much to everyone who donated. Mummy is not so pleased with the pups this morning...they have started to dig up the garden...she thinks they are considering emigrating......to Austrailia!
I know I have completed the walk and we hit our target but anything else we can raise is just a bonus....so all donations welcome!!! Very exciting the Sussex Courier have called and we will be in the paper on friday.
24th July - Today is the day! Wow we were so lucky gorgeous sunshine. Daddy fed the dogs early so they were ready for the walk, Mummy and I were busy folding raffle tickets at 6 am. We arrived and set up our stalls, fantastic response I think there must have been 100 people there. Maisie came and set the walk off, the puppies Maverick and Merlin were really good. Lots of people bought tickets for raffle and stalls. We have nearly raised my target on line and also have raised £1084.90 so far from people getting sponsored, so we can really make a difference. Thank you to everyone for your support. I have promised the puppies a really nice bone tonight!
Thank you to everyone who helped this event get of the ground and to everyone who has sponsored me, taken part or helped make it happen....hugs all round x
23rd july - One day to go, one sleep, Mummy bought me some new pumps for the walk. Yesterday, I helped with the signs I did the laminating. The puppies are getting excited, I have been practicing getting them to come back!!

Mummy 20th July - Took the puppies with me to school, Mummy said I looked like Laura Ingles running in the long grass with them! They are better off the lead than on...where they seem to spend a lot of time tripping Mummy Up! We had school assembly today and I told all my friends about the walk it was a bit nerve racking...but look forward to seeing as many people as possible

5th July - Well the puppies seemed to have a lot of energy today. Daddy had a significant amount of poop to collect! We took them for a training walk which they seemed to enjoy. Mummy received another raffle prize....thank you very much.
4th July - Oh ooops! Mummy isreally not very happy, today we received a delivery from Burns the dog food manufacturer so that all the doggies doing the walk can get a treat for doing so, however the delivery man thought it a good idea to give it straight to the puppies, by tossing it over our wall. The puppies, unsurprisingly demolished the package, and are now very very full!
