Story

I'm not a runner. Not even close. But, when I heard that there was an opportunity to run the Bupa 10k for Volunteer Service Overseas, I jumped at the chance. I thought there was no better reason to dig out my running shoes and get out of my comfort zone than for an organization I believe in.

While my running mentors insist that with proper training I can complete this run in less than an hour, my goal is to run the entire 10k without walking, passing out, or dying.

I believe that we can all make a difference in our own ways. This is me doing my part. Please join me and donate now. Donating through JustGiving is simple, totally secure, and the money you give goes directly to VSO.

For more about me and to follow my training journey, please check out my blog, The Roadside Diary. Thank you for your support!
