Hello, I'm Amy and I love running (most of the time anyway haha). I started running in April 2020 taking up C25K at the start of the very first lockdown to get out the house, get fit and keep my mental health on track. I have not looked back since and today running is a regular part of my routine. I love the way it makes me feel and although I go through stages where I struggle to motivate myself to actually go for a run - that feeling you get after ("runners high") makes it worth it every time! 

I am really grateful to have been given a place by The Children’s Society to run London Marathon. The charity is very close to my heart. I went into care when I was a teenager and know first hand how difficult it is for looked after children and care leavers. The support and campaigns this charity provides is so important especially to give people the chance they deserve. I’d love to be able to give back and raise as much money as possible.
