UPDATE... I am very sad to announce that I have injured my ankle and will not be attempting the marathon this year.  Common sense has prevailed and I have decided to allow my ankle to recover... as soon as I'm back up and running I'll set myself a new  challenge and let you all know! :o)

Some of you may be surprised to hear that I've signed up for the Beachy Head Marathon on 25th October 2008, it's not exactly the easiest marathon to start with but it is significant to me as it will be a year since my Grandfather passed away.

I have chosen to support the Alzheimer's Society as it has provided a huge amount of support to my family whilst we have been caring for my Grandmother, and I know that they will use the funds raised to help other people in the same situation.

I appreciate your support and will keep you up to date with how my training is going!
