Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page and helping me raise money and awareness for this charity

Having experienced first hand the devastating effect Alzheimers can have on the entire family I am keen to raise as much money as possible so that other people can benefit from the support network the charity offers. Please donate as much as you can afford, it will be greatly appreciated by myself and everybody associated with Alzheimers Scotland.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! x x x

What is life with Alzheimers? - A poem by Amy George

What is life without our memories

What is life without our mind

What is life without our choices

What is life when we cant find

The words to share our thoughts and feelings

Or maintain a sense of pride

When we cant find the words we need

To share the love we feel inside

What is life without a shoe?

I put them here, there once was two

I put them here, I just don't know

Who are you? Where did it go?

I want to tell you all my story

Share with you my life long tale

The trouble is my memories gone

And all that I can do is wail
