Unfortunately we live in a world that either ourselves or somebody we know has been effected by cancer. 10 years ago I lost my Gran to this horrible disease which is still devastating now but a year and a half ago my mum had the biggest shock of her life and found out she had to face the C word. Thanks to the amazing team at Christie's my mum was diagnosed and started treatment before we really had time to let it sink in. My mum was one of the lucky ones and she is one of many that can stand up and say 'I beat cancer'. Hopefully we can become a world where everybody who has to face it can come out fighting.

The more we raise the better the research can be which means hospitals can cure more people. Anything you can spare would make a massive difference to this important charity.
