Story

On the 26th of march 2005 my world fell apart. My younger brother died suddenly,no warning his heart just stopped. Robert suffered from myotonic dystrophy which is one of the many types of muscular dystrophy ,it's a genetic condition you are born with and generally gets worse the older you become. Unfortunatly Robert was born with a fairly severe form which affected many aspects of his life including his mobility and speech.Despite this he was a very happy little boy , full of fun ,super inquisitive and very keen to learn. His determination got him up on his feet( something they said he would never do )!! We were so proud of him and his accomplishments,  we adored him. His death was so very sudden, he just collapsed and died.  No warning, no goodbyes . He was only 7 years old.

Now as his 16th birthday approaches I want to do something for him to celebrate his short life and I can't think of anything better than raising as much as I can o help fund research/  a cure/ just something  so that other families don't have to go through this.

Please give whatever you can spare, anything is greatly appreciated!!

Wish me luck xxx
