Following my slight struggle to do the Great Manchester Run in 2017, I thought I would fundraise this year to make the inevitable struggle more worthwhile.

I'm running as part of Manchester Metropolitan University's 'Team Orange' and fundraising for our campaign First Generation, which supports students who are the first generation in their family to go to University by helping them to get here, then supporting them throughout their studies and beyond.

I've seen first-hand the positive impact that this scheme has had on the lovely students already on it, so would like to help make this accessible to even more students in the future.
