Story
When I started university I did very very little sport. It was a joke between friends and family that I ran like a fairy, with gangly arms and legs, not the tightest of running styles.
However since being at Uni I have realised how exhilarating sport can be! Love the endorphin rush and the guilt free chocolate indulgences.
Deciding to do the Great North Run was initially a bit of mad decision, but has given me a much needed goal to train my fitness towards.
The Alzheimer's Society is my chosen charity for many reasons. Close friends' family members have been affected and I have seen how upsetting it can be for families. It's also one of those things that can affect anyone at any time, but the amazing work the Alzheimer's society does will inspire me (for 13.1 miles...)
All donations, however much, will be gladly received (with hugs I expect!).
