We fundraise for vital funds to support Shoreham Beach Primary School
Story
On Wednesday 20th July I'm swimming the furthest I have ever swum in open water and the first time in my life I’ve entered a race type event (there is a mass start of 200+ people) Yes, I'm plenty nervous.
I got my first pair of goggles to put my face in the sea and try out front crawl about a year ago (in May I think). I had only ever dipped in the sea and floated about before (which is glorious) but I remember the awe I felt as I watched my swim friends glide off that day. Those who know me know I caught the swim bug pretty badly. I've always been drawn to the sea but being submerged and underwater and using my body like this is a whole new world to me. I have not swum much in fresh water and am looking forward to a new swim spot and seeing what its like swimming with many people! eeeek
My daughter, Elara is in Seashells (year 1) at Shoreham Beach Primary. I’d love to raise a few pounds the school. Every penny will be used to improve the learning environment for our little people. As well as give me a rocket up the bottom to help me make it round all 4 laps of the buoyed course!
If you are not able to donate please know that I appreciate you reading all of this and your support :)

In the current climate, schools across the country are underfunded. As a small, single form entry primary, additional funds are needed to supplement funding for IT, resources and many other areas. We are currently fundraising for improvements to our library to provide additional learning space.
