Story
This February is the first year anniversary that we lost our beloved family friend, Jamie Norton. Jamie supported Mind himself and loved to give himself a physical challenge. For this reason I want to follow in his footsteps by running 50 k throughout February, in honour of him. With also raising awareness regarding mental health and raising funds for Mind. As a 10 year old this is a big challenge for me, so please support me on this journey and let's do it for Jamie!
true: conversations around mental health are finally starting to change. But there is still a long way to go.Thats why I'm challenging myself to complete 50km on Strava this February. Because in 2023, suicide is still the leading cause of death for men under 50.By making a donation to my page, you'll be helping raise money that will make a huge difference. To get people the support they need, when they need it.£20 could help run Mind's online peer support community Side By Side for an hour, helping people connect with others and feel less alone.£30 could help Mind's Infoline answer calls, giving people vital support.£100 could pay the cost of one of Mind's Infoline or Legal Line advisors for a whole day. Thanks to your gift, we can make sure our advisors are ready to answer calls for help and support.Mind wont give up until everyone with a mental health problem gets support and respect. Support the fight for mental health.
