Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to participate in the 2023 Cardiff Half Marathon on October 1st in memory of my Gran, Prue May

As many of you know my gran was diagnosed with Macular degeneration which caused her to lose her eyesight in her early 70s. When she passed away in May 2021, we discovered that my pops was also diagnosed with macular degeneration which has caused him to slowly loose his eyesight.

I am reaching out to share a cause that is very close to my heart and to ask for your generous support. That's why I havedecided to start this JustGiving page to raise funds for RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People). RNIB is the leading sight loss charity in the UK and is driving the creation of a world where thereare no barriers for people with sight loss. We want to change our world so there are no barriers to people with sight loss.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in supporting the RNIB’s vital work, helping to transforming lives.

Running this half marathon will be difficult but with the support from all my friends and family I know it will achieveable.
