Story

I'm taking part in the Great North Run again this year in memory of my beautiful Niece, Megan. She sadly lost her battle with Mitochondrial Disease when she was just 3 years old.

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, a little girl who lost her life at just 8 months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease.

Megan would have been 12 year old this year so I am once again participating in the Great North Run to raise lots of money for an excellent cause.

I know that times are hard at the moment and cost of living prices have sky rocketed, so any donations will be greatly appreciated - no matter how small!

Please stand with me and let's work towards a future where we can overcome mitochondrial diseases!
