The Way Of Roses · 6 September 2019

Our students are desperate to access the wider community with their peers. A wheelchair accessible minibus will raise their self esteem and prevent social exclusion. Please help us in our plight

Story

Dane Architectural are cycling the coast to coast.

16No enthusiastic Dane employees will be cycling "The way of roses" on the 6th September over 3 days, they start on the West coast at Morecambe and finish at Bridlington on the East coast raising funds for Learning for Life.

Learning for Life pride themselves on providing a stimulating and effective learning environment for the young people, Including those experiencing more profound and multiple learning and physical difficulties. Many students are in wheelchairs due to their disabilities and Learning for life are in DESPERATE need for a 17 seat minibus with a tail lift in order for them to included in the diverse society we live in.

The money will be used to purchase the minibus and take the students on day trips/access areas of outdoor learning in the community in order to reduce social isolation and give them a better quality of lift. We are ideally looking to raise the much needed funds by next summer (July 2020), but if we can raise the money sooner, then even better.
