We support seriously ill children to lead a positive and happy life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 5th June  this year I will be taking part in a 65k canoe race along the Ardeche river in France to raise money for the Richard House Childrens Hospice.

Richard House provides care and support for children with terminal illnesses and their families, accompanying them during the journey through life to death and creating positive experiences along the way. There are 25 of us in total taking part in the challenge and we hope to raise enough money to pay for a nurse at the hospice for a year - so please please please donate as much or as little as you are able to help us achieve this goal.

For those of you who are not entirely convinced that me canoeing is worth your sponsorship - please note that I will be camping, in a tent, on the side of a gorge, with wild boar in close proximity and may be savaged ;-)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - THANK YOU
