Story
As many of you know, I've been fundraising for the Keratconous Group since 2013 and even though my eyes have now stabilised, I'm still continuing my support for those who suffer and towards the research at Moorfield's.
On Sunday 4th March I'll be participating in a 14 mile walk from Moorfield's Eye Hospital to the London Eye with a friend. This walk has been organised by the Eye to Eye charity that raises funds for pioneering research into eye disorders, such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Donations raised have also helped support vital research projects including the studies exploring the genetics to keratoconus.
I'll be walking with hundreds of people, some that suffer with an eye condition and others that are supporting their loved ones.
I don't expect to raise loads of money for this event, as I know it's not quite a marathon...but every little helps and I enjoy just showing my support!
