Hey everyone!

As mad and crazy as I am, I have decided to dive with sharks!

I've been fascinated with sharks for as long as I can remember which is why I wanted this experience for my birthday/ Christmas present from my boyfriend Tim and family. (I also used to be potty about dinosaurs - but I can't exactly walk with them!)

I will be dipping my toes (and the rest of my body) in a Carribean reef tank with sand tiger sharks, nurse sharks, zebra sharks and lemon sharks at the Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire on Sunday, March 27. I will be in the tank for about half an hour and I might even get to touch one of the sharks! 

I must admit - I am totally freaked out about getting in the water with the big beautiful beasts, but at the same time - I cannot wait! :) I just love sharks and the proof is not just this dive but is also on my leg (not a bite but a tattoo).

Seeing as though I am challenging myself to this once-in-a-lifetime daredevil feat, I thought it would be fantastic to raise money for charity at the same time.

I have chosen Endometriosis UK because it is a cause very close to my own heart. I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis myself after undergoing an operation and suffering more than two years of pain and problems.

It is a condition in which pieces of the womb lining are found outside the womb and it causes pain in the lower part of the body as well as affecting fertility. It is also emotionally straining at times. There isn't a cure for it, but I am managing my endo with medication. So, that is why I'm raising money for this particular charity, which offers vital support to women with endometriosis, their families and friends. I hope I can help make a difference!
