I am currently a member of the charity organisation, “Friends of Africa” – Charity Number XR73168 and our moto is "Small Steps together"

 

I will be participating with a team of volunteers who will travel to Africa in the Summer of 2013. Our team will work for six weeks on projects in South Africa.  Projects will include assisting in orphanages, health care work, working on building projects or teaching.

We as volunteers will attend a series of preparatory training sessions and will pay for our own flights. We have been asked to fundraise £3000 which will go directly to the projects in Africa.
