Story
In November 2021, one of my little girls underwent open heart surgery in Our Lady's hospital in Dublin. This was to amend a large hole in her heart that she had struggled with since birth. After multiple trips to and from Dublin for consultations and one failed operation, little Sadie's heart was finally fixed by the incredible surgeons. During this time, the Children's Heartbeat Trust supported us immensely - both financially and emotionally. They are an amazing charity that made the whole experience so much more bearable and we can't thank them enough.
This May, I am supporting Children's Heartbeat Trust by completing their Mile A Day in May Challenge. I will be walking a mile every day for the month of May to raise sponsorship and awareness of the charity's vital work supporting local children in Northern Ireland with congenitial heart disease.Any support and donations would be greatly appreciated.
