Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2021 Great North Run.

My good friend Rachel was adopted through Barnardo's. Here is a little of her story: 

"I was I was adopted through Barnardos as a baby aged 6 months old. Later in my life, Barnardos supported me once again when I embarked on the emotional journey of searching for my biological family. It felt like Davina McColl missed out on a great episode of long lost family, when I discovered I had a sister and then later met her, when I was 29 years old."

Our team is called "These Girl's Can't" because quite frankly, it's utterly ridiculous that we are doing this. Neither of us are sporty or fit in any way, and it's only declined through lockdown! But for this Charity, we are willing to go the extra 13.4 miles. It's a cause that will help many more children in the future, and well worth getting off the sofa for. Please sponsor us, and then all the blood, sweat, tears......and more sweat......and more tears will be worth it.
