I am running the great south run in aid of the Alzheimers Society. I aim to do it in 1hour and 30mins taking 45min off my last half marathon result.

In my job as Community Matron I see first hand the effects that dementia and associated diseases have on patients and their families. It is life changing and brings with it complex challenges.

I am running for this charity in order for the hard work and commitment to people with dementia and their families to continue.
