This fundraising page has been set up to raise money for leaukemia and Lymphoma research in memory of Richard. I am going to be walking the Moonlight walk  in My Pjs with Richards family on the 12th October  from 10pm till 1am in Loughbough along with Rainbows, (another charity close to my heart which i volunteer for) We are raising money in Aid of Richard my Best friend, my soul mate and my newly wedding Husbband, after loosing his long battle to Lymphoma. We want to do this walk for him and for those who are fighting, esp for My sister law's mum, who is currently recovering from a Bone Marrow Transplant. 

 

Richard and i were lucky enough to have a wedding blessing in the hospital  a month before he died, which was one of his biggest dreams and fullifilled one of his wishes. 

Richard fought for 5 years to battle Hodgkins Lymphoma and after a curagious fight he sadly lost his battle on 8th August this year, eben when he said he was going to be ok. He was a fighter and prooved the doctors wrong on so many occasions, but sadly in the end he was too poorly to get better. 

Throughout his battle, we thought of all sorts of fundrasing events that we could do to raise awarness and funds for Lymphoma research. Sadly we were never able to do any of these as we wanted wait until he was better but Richard asked me to make sure I carried out all the things we talked about so this exactly what I am going to do and as he would always say "The bigger the better".

I am starting off by taking part in the Moonlight walk in Loughborough on 12th October along side members of his family, friends and work collogues.

This will then be followed by the first big event that I am organising which is a 007 Bond ball on 30th Novmber at Brooksby Hall, Melton. Richard loved the idea of a Bond themed ball as he loved James Bond so this is what we are doing in memory of him and his late dad and to support those currenlty fighting lymphoma.
