Story
I am running the Middlesbrough 10k on Sunday September 2nd 2012 in memory of two little girls who were silently born. Amy would have been 18 this November and Rose was silently born in February this year. The death of a baby is a devastating experience. The effects of grief can be overwhelming and parents, their families and friends can be left feeling dazed, disorientated, isolated and exhausted. Both sets of families where greatly helped by the Care of the Bereaved Parent service based at James Cook University Hospital, although this charity doesn’t have its own pot of money I understand that funds are made available to them from the South Tees Acute Hospitals General Charitable Fund.
So please dig deep and donate now.
