Story

Hi guys!

So on July 2nd 2016 myself and my friend Lindsay decided it would be a great idea to run 100km from London to Cambridge!

As many of you know, my dad has been suffering from various forms of cancer including: Prostate, Liver and the most aggressive being Bone Cancer.  He was told this time last year that he had a few months or perhaps a year to live.

We are all very positive as a family and have tried to smile throughout this past year (even at the hideous moments!). The doctors are amazed that dad is still with us and is currently in Southampton hospital after having an operation which we hope is going to block off an artery that feeds the cancer into the bone in his leg.  This is a new procedure so it really does go to show how important fund raising is!

By taking part in this race, I feel like i'm helping dad and many others to beat this disease and find the research and cures that are so desperately needed.

Lindsay very sadly lost her father last year so together we hope to have the physical and mental strength to get each other through to the bitter end!

Our team name will be....

'RACING MAMAS!!'

I thank you all for your ongoing support and love xx
