Story
I found out on November 6th I had breast cancer. Like most people who have this, it had gone to my lymph nodes aswell. It started with a swollen and sore armpit but thought nothing of it until I found the lump. If only I had checked I would have felt it sooner! At 33 its not something I ever thought would happen but I am one of the unlucky 1 in 8!
I am having chemo until April. Yes I get sick and tired and my hair is thinning or worse case could completely go but I will remain strong and smash cancer right in the goolies!!! I will then have surgery. Breast will be removed as well as lymph nodes, that will happen in May! Radiotherapy after that then reconstruction and then 5 years of pills and check ups
I am scared - of course I am... but the love and support I have from friends, family and my son is what will get me through, not forgetting the amazing nurses/doctors that may I add so far have been amazing!
We are going to be doing a few things to raise money and most importantly awareness. I don't expect anyone to donate lots but something little goes along way and please remember to COP A FEEL!!!!!!!
I am going to split the money between cancer research and the chemo unit at Brants Bridge Bracknell
Thank you to everyone for the love and constant support given it is truly appreciated. Amy xxxxx
