I am helping to raise money for the IWIN Foundation, an Indiana nonprofit that serve Hoosiers going through the treatment of breast cancer. A breast cancer diagnosis brings dozens of appointments, unexpected expenses, and enormous stress. As if that was not enough, many of the patients that the IWIN Foundation serves, spend sleepless nights worrying about how they will put food on the table for their families or afford extra gas or pay for a babysitter during treatments, considering overwhelming medical bills. That's where IWIN steps in! Last year, IWIN provided transportation assistance, childcare, and meals to over 600 breast cancer patients right here in Indiana. The purpose of IWIN's annual 100 Women In 100 Days campaign is to raise money to support 100 Hoosier patients over the course of 100 days. Funds raised will keep women in treatment and alleviate burdens.

I can’t imagine going through this battle without the enormous support system I had. There are so many people with no one to help them and that stress is overwhelming on top of trying to get better. The mental energy needed to fight this disease is just as high as the physical and providing any bit of relief means so much to those in need.
