On the 16th December 2017 our family lost a very precious woman to a nasty and not yet curable illness called Alzheimers.

On Saturday 8th September 2018 10 of us are taking part in the Tough Mudder challenge where we will be running 10 miles whilst also completing obstacles along the way to raise money for our very special Mum/Nanna who sadly cannot be with us today. The money raised will go towards a charity which is very close to our hearts, The Alzheimer's Society. 

This disease is more common than what people think with 850,000 people still suffering in the UK to this day. For every person living with Dementia the annual cost is £30,000 and yet only £90 per year is spent on research. This calculates to a massive 1 in 5 people that suffer from the disease. 

We are kindly asking people to donate as much or as little as possible for this very worthy cause. 

Unfortunately research has not managed to save our Mum/Nanna but hopefully if we all put together it could help save the lives of many more in the years to come.
