Story
Keech has been a huge part of not only Harrison’s life but also Sophie and Dave’s lives ever since they started taking him to local toddler groups and realised he didn’t quite fit in. Harrison was referred to Keech and started going to tots and toys every Thursday surrounded by children and families just like theirs. Having been to a tots and toys session with Harrison and Sophie I have seen first hand just how special Keech is, the care and support they provide to families is like no other. Not only that but it meant that they could meet and get the support from other families who were in similar situations to theirs, Sophie and Harrison were able to make friends for life. From then on Harrison continued to go to Keech for restpite stays and other fun activities, they even took him horse riding once!
Keech has always been special to Harrison, Sophie and Dave but since Harrison has passed we have seen a whole new side of Keech. Words cannnot express how indebted our entire family feels towards Keech. The care they have provided not only Harrison but also Sophie and Dave is second to none. The comfort it has bought our whole family to know that Harrison is peaceful tucked up in bed surrounded by his teddies, music and even having books read to him is indescribable. The peace and comfort this has bought Sophie and Dave in the darkest time of their lives is something that cannot ever be repaid. Our family will forever be in your debt. They have done beautiful memory work with Harrison, Sophie and Dave which means that even after Harrison’s passing they continue to be able to create beautiful memories with him that will be treasured forever.
There will never be the words to explain how grateful we are for Keech hospice. Our family will continue to raise money and awareness about the hospice and the work they do in memory of Harrison for the rest of our lives. From the bottom of my heart the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported Harrison, Sophie and Dave over the years.
