I am running for Dementia UK. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. The nurses there are called Admiral Nurses who provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

I am running for a close family member who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year. It's had a huge impact on our family but we are determined to take control as much as we possibly can to make everyday life as comfortable for them, as well as their carer.

This run is for my family and everyone else affected by this debilitating disease xxx
