I have never done anything like this before and maybe its just something about being in my mid 30's.  However when I was set this challenge by a friend I was keen to run it for Mosaic.

My father died  suddenly when I was 8 years old.  I was not given any professional help to deal with this life changing event and somehow I have managed to get through life dealing with the effects this had on me.  Now my own son is 8 I wonder how he would cope if the same thing happend to him and hate to even consider it, however I know Mosaic have been able to help lots of young people so would like to do this for them.

I would like to raise enough money to help put one child through a programme of councelling (£500).  I have seen what a difference it can make to young people and hope this donation will help at least one child benefit from this wonderful charity.

I do not plan to get a good time I would just like to finish the race and raise some money for Mosaic.
