Story

I'm getting my running shoes on, and fundraising for Diabetes UK on 19th May. I'll be running with my lovely friend Mel, in honour of her twin brother Rich who passed away last year. Diabetes UK was a charity close to Rich's heart as he had diabetes himself, and he and Mel had been planning to do a sky dive to fundraise for the charity on their 40th birthdays. Since Rich passed away in February 2018, Mel has dreamed up her 'Thirty Six in 36' challenge, and has started doing a challenge a month over three years, including the Three Peaks, the London to Brighton cycle and the Race to the Tower. Thank god I'm only doing one of these challenges and I've picked this 10k, so now I just need lots of money from you good people. Please do sponsor me if you can, it would mean so much to Mel and her family. Thanks so much! x
