For mum's 50th Birthday she wanted to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society instead of having gifts.

In mum's 50th Birthday card I wrote that I would do a 'Half Marathon' this year and try to get as much sponsorship for the Alzheimer's Society as I could.

I did a half marathon on the 4th August to check that I could do the distance before asking people to part with their money - and make donations to the Alzheimer's Society for this half marathon. Please donate whatever you can.

I have paid my own entry fee.

Every donation online that you donate through this page will go straight to the Alzheimer's Society. It's a tough run. It's 13.1 miles... but I'll complete it for mum's 50th, in memory of nan.
