Whilst cycle racing in Jul 14, NFTO rider Mick Ballantyne was involved in a life threatening crash. The initial medic assessments indicated that his injuries made survival highly unlikely. The crucial factor in his survival was the immediate treatment provided by the charity launched East Anglian Air Ambulance.       

After 3 months in hospital and fantastic support from friends and family, Mick is pleased to encourage further support as Lisa (wife) and Amy (daughter) compete in this duathlon.
