Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be doing a 5 mile walk to help raise money for people with Dementia, in my local town.

My Nan was diagnosed with Dementia when I was just 14, she suffered for 12 years and lost her battle to this horrible illness in 2013.. the same year my Nan passed, her own brother, my Great Uncle, was diagnosed and we lost him a year later in 2014. This is a personal walk for me as I lost two special people in my life from this illness and it is so horrible to watch someone you love slowly go away from you.

I would be very happy if anyone would like to join me in my walk.. the more the merrier! Or if you could simply sponsor me I would be so grateful, even if it is just £1!!

If anyone would like any details on where will be taking place, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at amy_anne28@Hotmail.com for more information :)

Thank you once again and hope to see you there on the 12th September 2015!!
