Story
Daddy, what can I do to make a difference? I am just one person and I'm only 6.
This question and these words sparked a desire to show our children that they can make a difference. That even at this young age they can bring people together to amplify their voice and, at the very least, raise awareness.
Last year, 136,000 young people presented to their councils as homeless or at risk of homelessness. That's one young person every 4 minutes.
Centrepoint is on a mission to change this stark reality by ending youth homelessness by 2037, helping thousands of young people to reclaim their dreams and have a future beyond homelessness.
We are a group of parents and children aged between 7 and 15 swapping our beds for a sleeping bag to raise vital funds to help homeless young people wake up to change. Please support us in raising funds to continue Centrepoint's vital services. Together, we can end youth homelessness. For good.
