Story
Charlie Treadwell was not just a friend. He was an inspiration, with his optimism, his imagination, his hugs... and his absolute honesty about my writing.
His diagnosis of brain cancer in July 2011 inspired a whole new story. Now, with the National Novel Writing Month project, it's time to put it down on paper. It's not a physical race, but I will have just 30 days, starting on 1st November, to write a minimum of 50 000 words and turn this story into a novel in Charlie's memory.
St Catherine's Hospice provided incredible care and support to Charlie and his family during his last weeks. Please donate generously to ensure that they can continue their amazing work for people like Charlie.
