Story

Ramadan Mubarak!

On Sunday the 17th of May I'll be challenging myself to run 10 km while fasting to raise my target of €3,000 which will provide life saving treatment for 100 children in Yemen suffering from severe malnutrition.

The worst humanitarian crisis since world war two has been unfolding in Yemen over the past few years. Every ten minutes a child in Yemen will starve to death. The statistics are truly shocking and we must do more to help our forgotten brothers and sisters in Yemen.

Islamic Relief is the leading humanitarian organisation in Yemen, capable of reaching the most poor and needy people on the ground in the majority of Yemen's provinces.

If one hundred and fifty people sponsor treatment for one child, which is €30, I will reach my target and we can save the lives of one hundred and fifty children this Ramadan. Please donate now and reap the rewards of saving lives during this blessed month.

Allah (swt) says in the Quran 5:32 "Whoever saved a life, it is as if he saved the lives of all of humanity." The prophet Muhammed (pbuh) has also told us that the rewards of sadaqah are multiplied by 70 during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Jazakum Allahu khairan for your support and generosity.

Sincerely yours Amir Shah
