Story
Sometimes we get so caught in our own "dunya" matters that we forgot our brothers and sisters who do not live in the same fortunate countries as we do. Ibn `Umar (May Allaah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in a longer hadeeth: ".....If whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allaah, will fulfill his needs. Whoever relieves a muslim from distress, Allaah will relieve him from distress on the Day of Resurrection. ..[Bukhari and Muslim].
“Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever is with Allaah (of good deeds) will remain” [al-Nahl 16:96]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that every man will be shaded by his charity on the Day of Resurrection, the day on which the sun will be brought close to people’s heads until Allaah passes judgement between them. Narrated by Ahmad
and Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Verily, Allaah will raise up a date or a morsel in charity, just as one of you riases his mare or his young, until it becomes like the mountain of Uhud." (Sahih Ibn Hibban)
So hasten to give charity and strive to make your charity ongoing, so that you may benefit from it after death, take this opportunity to provide a lifeline to the most vulnerable people in Tanzania equipping them with the skills and education to become future leaders of tomorrow.
We ask Allaah to help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him. Ameen
