Assalamualaikum my lovelies, I would like to get everyone’s attention on the refugee camps around the world specifically Yemen, Gaza, Bangladesh, Syria, Rohingya and Palestine. 

These fearful individuals did not have the chance to grab their belongings on the run for their lives. It’s currently winter season  and the only items they may own are the clothes they are wearing. We tend to forget how lucky we are to have basic luxuries such as warmth, extra clothes, blankets etc. 

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I looked into Paradise and found that the majority of its dwellers were the poor people”. We don’t know whose Dua may be the reason we enter paradise. There’s a saying the less fortunate need us in this world, but we will be needing them more than they do in the next. 

For this Fundraiser, I will be taking part in the "Cold Feet" challenge. This is where I am going to try and stand in a bucket of freezing ice cold water to feel what our dear brother and sisters are going through due to not having the basic necessities  of shoes!  And the second challenge I will be taking part is ‘Dress Like It’s Summer 5K Walk’. 

Our teams are preparing to provide winter essentials such as clothing, blankets, fuel and food to families in need, but we can’t do this without your help.
