Story
AMI Marine are proud to be supporting Seafarers UK.
Seafarers UK are a charity that has been helping people in the maritime community for 100 years, by providing vital funding to support seafarers in need and their families, and to those in education or training who are preparing to work at sea. They do this by giving money to organisations and projects that make a real difference to people’s lives, across the Merchant Navy, Fishing Fleets, Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
AMI Marine manufactures and services quality bridge, safety and navigation equipment for commercial vessels. We pride ourselves on great products, technical expertise and fantastic customer service.
We have a wonderful team of staff at our base in Southampton and hold a good work ethic and family focused ethos.
Our team is thrilled to be taking part in the ‘24 Peaks Challenge’ and are looking forward to the opportunity to push themselves into doing something remarkable and tough!
Our team is being headed up by one of our company Director’s, Martin Cox. He has also successfully managed to rope his daughter Shannon into the team.
Our Sales Support Manager Lauren Mudliar is joining the team along with our Engineer Tom Hayden. Also joining the team is former employee Greg Speed, who loves us so much he wants to spend 2 days on a mountain with us!
Supporting the team from the foot of the hills is our Marketing & Media
Administrator Lucy Speed.
Martin Cox has added his positive enthusiasm “The (AMI) team
is totally up for this challenge, we can’t wait – we are going to smash this challenge and will probably set a world record! In all seriousness, this is a great charity and we are so glad to be raising money for the excellent work they do. The marine industry is where we trade and we are very proud to be supporting Seafarers UK.”
