AM Griffiths have chosen to support and do their bit to help raise money to ensure that Severn Hospice can carry on supporting families living with an incurable illness.

Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for these families all day every day from the moment they are referred and for as long as they need it . 

Whilst the service is provided free it is not without cost , and Severn Hospice have to raise £2 for every £3  it requires to provide this essential support to the families. 

To help raise funds , on Saturday 6^th July twenty willing volunteers from
AM Griffiths and Son will form a motley crew of rowers  competing in the Severn Hospice Dragon Boat Race 2019.

The dragon boat racing action event takes place over a July weekend  on the river Severn between Shrewsbury School and Pengwern Boat Club. AMG are competing on Saturday the 6^th July.

The event will see the team of AMG rowers compete in three heats  rowing competitively against other teams on the mighty river Severn with  the  aim of recording a fast enough time to make it to a grand final with a chance of being crowned champion dragon boat racers of 2019
