Story
Lockdown has been very hard for adults but also for children. We don't understand why we can't go to school or see our friends, it is so sad. We just wake up and get told "no school,no friends" it hurts our hearts. Parents get stressed trying to help us learn, but we get stressed too because we have never learnt the work yet. We don't even know what mental health is, so why is it we feel so bad? We will need help.
So I am walking 50 miles in February with my mum and dad to raise money for charity to help with children's mental health.
If you could donate I would be very grateful.

With so much uncertainty in the world, children and young people need emotional support now more than ever. That's why I'm taking part in Run for Mental Health with Place2Be. Place2Be is the UK's leading provider of school-based children's mental health services. During lockdown, they have been working tirelessly to provide support to children and families who need them most. With your support, Place2Be can continue to be there for families during lockdown and beyond.- £50 could pay for a child struggling with issues like anxiety, depression or trauma to have a 50-minute one-to-one session with a counsellor.- £100 could support vulnerable families to get support from mental health professionals during lockdown. For many isolated families this is a lifeline, giving them access to basic necessities like food.Thank you.
