Story

hello everyone🤍

As some may know i have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis. Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. This can cause pain, heavy bleeding, bleeding between periods, and problems getting pregnant (infertility). 1 in 10 women and those assigned female of birth of reproductive age in the UK suffer from endometriosis. Since being diagnosed i have had a wonderful team of Endometriosis Specialists investigating my diagnosis and finding the best solution for me. I will be having surgery in the next 6 weeks to 6 months. Beforehand i will now be on painkillers as a permanent prescription 4 times a day to help level out my pain. Endometriosis has changed my life in many ways from severe low mood and extreme anxiety but also thinking too much about the future. As lucky as i am to have been diagnosed quickly and put forward for surgery quickly unfortunately for many women this isn’t the case. I will be doing the Walk For Endo in July the aim of this is to walk 8000 steps a day for the whole of July. Please if you can spare any pennies to donate throughout July and share this with your friends and family i would appreciate that massively! All money will be going to Endometriosis Uk charity. I will also be doing updates of my progress through out the month to share with you all! Let’s do this before i’m bed bound for 2 weeks!!😩❤️
