Story
Next week we are going to be walking 10k in aid of the British Red Cross. This brilliant organisation works in 190 countries, supporting people through times of crisis. Around the world, they protect civilians in war zones, help refugees seeking safety and give care to victims of modern slavery and trafficking. Here in the UK, they offer aid to people in emergency situations, help those struggling with the cost of living crisis and even assist in getting people home after a stay in hospital.
Whatever the problem, the British Red Cross strives to get people the help they need.
£5 could provide water sanitation and hygiene training that helps people to stay healthy after a disaster.
£10 could provide mosquito nets to a family in Nigeria, protecting them from diseases like malaria.
£20 could pay for essentials for a new parent in the UK who’s lost everything during flooding.
We are walking for humanity because we know the only difference between us, and others facing unthinkable trauma, is pure luck. If you feel the same, please consider a little donation ❤️
