Story

This is an amazing opportunity that I have been given through the University of Brighton to teach and also travel to amazing places. The aim is to promote peace education and positive values in coaches and children. I have had the opportunity to teach within the UK and also in incredible places such as The Gambia and South Korea. The methodology is based on 5 key values, they are: TRUST, RECPECT, RESPONSIBLITY, INCLUSION and EQUITY.

I have found school challenging at times due to my dyslexia, however sport has always been a release for my emotions and played an important part of my life. I believe the power of sport is incredible as it brings people together, gives an outlet for emotions and offers important life skills. To have the opportunity to work with young people and share the value of sport and how it has supported me would be a really fantastic experience. I also believe that the 5 values of R4P are really significant to teaching holistically developing a child.
