Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I really appreciate it.

Donating through JustGiving is quick and secure. Your details are safe and will not be sold on, nor will unwanted emails be sent. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

CCHF All About Kids gives disadvantaged children residential trips, activity and predominantly, respite care. They improve the quality of children’s lives and most importantly they help children to recognise their potential in life.

I am hoping to raise £500 which will partly fund a trip for several children to my school: Wellington College this summer. They will stay in accommodation at school and it will be like any other residential week. It is the first time some of the children will have seen an open space or visited a beach; which is why it is so special to give these children a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Several friends and I who are organising the camp in the summer are walking 26 miles of the Ridgeway Walk in aid of this Charity. We hope to keep our time under the nine hour mark.

Any contribution no matter how small is a step closer to helping children develop confidence and the chance for them to gain respite from their sometimes difficult backgrounds.

Thank you very much for supporting this cause,

Amelia Robinson

CCHF exists to provide severely disadvantaged children aged 7-11 with a range of residential activity, respite breaks and ongoing contact. The aim is to improve the quality of their lives, recognise their potential and achieve their goals in the safest possible environment. Since its inception in 1884, CCHF has helped over 2million children. Many of the children come from backgrounds including poverty, isolation, neglect and abuse, some are young carers or a sibling or parent and some have suffered from bereavement or family breakdown. Often, their natural play areas are rife with drugs, gang culture, violence and crime. We receive no statutory funding and rely totally on the generosity of our donors and supporters.
